What happened to the British Fascists during the Second World War?
A large number of them were interned in the Peveril Camp in Peel, Isle of Man. The Manx public was horrified by this, perhaps especially when the internees began to stage riots and even daring escapes tunnelling out under the wire.
This short film visits the site of the camp, telling some of these stories and seeing some of the remains of the internees hidden in private houses in Peel still today.
This is one of a series of films investigating the Isle of Man during the Second World War.
