Description –
On March 15, 2023, while on patrol, an officer observed a gray vehicle driving erratically on Northlake Blvd. The officer pulled over the Rivian Electric Vehicle and identified the driver as John Edwin Andio, who displayed signs of impairment. Andio admitted to taking medication earlier and refused Field Sobriety Tests, leading to his arrest on suspicion of DUI.
During the arrest, Andio made provocative comments, and damage to his vehicle was noted. A tow truck was called, but Andio’s refusal to cooperate led to involvement from an employee of his company. Eventually, Andio was transported to jail, but he resisted, resulting in an additional charge of resisting arrest without violence. This video is part of public records.
