Police Officer Caught On Video – Goes from cop to felon
Ex-police officer’s own body camera footage used against him in criminal case.
SEAMAN, Ohio —
A former police officer is out of a job and is now a convicted felon.
The village of Seaman’s police chief at the time was conducting an audit of footage from an officer’s body-worn camera when he stumbled upon a video he thought was inappropriate.
Prosecutors were notified, as well as the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
Their investigation led to Stokes being convicted of two felonies: theft in office and unauthorized use of the Leads database.
