A person wanted for first-degree murder is believed to be a suspect in a Polk County missing persons investigation, according to the sheriff’s office.

Sheriff Grady Judd is expected to talk about the case involving Sierra Hernandez around 5 p.m. Monday. 10 Tampa Bay will stream his remarks live online and on the 10 Tampa Bay+ for streaming devices.

The agency said in a statement that the sheriff will have an update on the investigation into Hernandez’s disappearance. He, too, will talk about the ongoing search for a person’s arrest for murder in a November 2023 homicide.

A $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone who might have information leading to the suspect’s arrest through Heartline Crime Stoppers.
