Photos taken during the demonstrations and riots in Greece, after the murder of a child by the police in the evening of 6th of December 2008 in the region of Exarchia in central Athens.
The riots lasted for several weeks, which the Media stopped corresponding after a while, simultaneously. The police didn’t do nothing against the violent protesters who were destroying huge stores and banks, leading the public opinion in division and at the same time was terrorizing the peaceful protesters.
Police in Greece is synonymous to repression and high rank officers crave for the dictatorship years (1967-1974).
The government didn’t accept any responsibilities and nobody resigned.
