Gabe the Solo Adventure Harlista experiencing violent riots on Honduran border with El Salvador. It was the most tense 4 hours of my trip. At one point some of the Union Protesters thought I was from Havana Cuba. Those that had befriended me stood up for me and the 7-10 protesters moved on. When I speak Spanish I have a Cuban/Miami accent. Spoiler alert……I made it out alive because my wife was praying for me. Looking back now it was not that bad. At the time I got nervous especially when the police showed up after gassing two other protest sites. I was out of water and could not wet my bandanna if I needed to at the time. Here is my story of my experience in the late Spring in 2019!
