Police are out in full force in Soweto today as part of the ongoing festive season safety campaign.
Public safety teams, along with the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department, are implementing extensive roadblocks in and around the city. The multidisciplinary teams are conducting a Tri-Band operation in Soweto, focusing on crime prevention as well as enforcing by-laws and traffic laws.
