More information about the Oklahoma third-grade teacher accused of drinking on the first day of school is emerging. Earlier in the day, Kimberly Coates posed with fellow teachers for a class photo before she was arrested for public intoxication. Following the incident, the school district released a statement to parents saying they could not provide any additional information because it is a “personnel issue.” Coates has resigned.
