17 year old ends up in jail because he gave a cop a fake ID during traffic stop. It’s especially bad if it’s not your name, even if the age is fake but it is still your identity is a much lesser crime than a fake name. Fake name can be identity theft and a much more serious crime than just a kid trying to get booze.
