Three traffic police officers were arrested by Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) detectives during a sting operation which was conducted on Thursday.
The three according to EACC Spokesman Yassin Amaro were allegedly found taking bribes from motorists on the Kajiado Namanga highway.
“We have been receiving complaints from the public and we decided to mount a surveillance,” said Amaro. He said they set up video cameras, which recorded the errant police officers in the act engaging in activities contrary to the traffic rules.
