Cops set up a sting operation to catch sex workers. One woman is arrested twice in one day. Elsewhere, officers engage in a high speed stolen vehicle pursuit. The passenger tries to escape the moving vehicle. And a warranted felon provides a false identity to the cops.
Real-life officers are followed by a camera crew, cinéma-vérité style, in a gritty up-close look at police work and the consequences of crime. It spawned a number of police-reality imitators.
