2005, Paris is burning, or the Banlieu, at least. Four police recruits are stuck in an anti-riot squad van that tries to leave the dangerous neighbourhood as quickly as possible. Tension in the street is mounting, but also among the rookies, who were specially scouted for a reintegration programme. Why were they chosen for this mission? They wonder if their identity and descent will protect them in the case of an ambush – or is a conflict of loyalties looming?
