25 people were arrested during Sheriff Bill Gore’s Holiday Watch Operation in the city of Vista. Sheriff’s Deputies conducted direct patrols at the Krikorian Theaters on 25 Main Street and surrounding businesses on Saturday, December 17 starting at 2:00 p.m. through midnight, Sunday, December 18th.

Others were arrested for DUI and being drunk in public. There were also citations for skateboarding. A Sheriff’s command post was also set up at the Krikorian Theaters where a Crime Prevention Specialist and Crime Analyst talked to people about crime trends in their neighborhoods and how they can prevent becoming a target or victim of crimes. Senior Volunteer Patrol (SVP) members also conducted direct patrols and left notes on the cars of people who left their belongings in plain sight.
