The Redding Police Department (RPD) has addressed “inaccurate information being spread on social media” regarding a traffic stop that led to an arrest on Thursday, Sept. 12, 2024.
RPD said that misinformation around the arrest as well as allegations of excessive force by a Redding Police officer spread online. Because of this, the RPD released the body cam footage of the arrestfor the public.
