On June 26, 2021, in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, officers were called to a local apartment complex on reports of an intoxicated woman that was refusing to leave a unit after being asked to leave multiple times.
When officers arrived, they found the woman, identified as Jess, in the bathroom. She was immediately uncooperative and began screaming loudly. Jess was so uncooperative that she needed to be carried up a set of stairs because she would not walk on her own. Officers were able to escort Jess out to their squad car, she continued screaming and attempted to resist arrest. She continued screaming in the squad for much of the ride to jail.
Officers went back into the apartment to inquire further about the events that occurred before the screaming. According to the other parties, they had been at a bar drinking and Jess had taken 3 shots in a line that she was not allowed to take. They then transported Jess to jail.
Jess was charged with resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct, she was found guilty of resisting or obstructing an officer and ordered to pay the court $330.
