On May 9th, 2024, officers responded to a disturbance at a bar involving a woman and her companion, who had been drinking. The woman, frustrated by financial constraints, was trying to find a way home without driving under the influence. Tensions rose when she insisted on retrieving cigarettes from her car, and despite her reassurances, the officers arrested her for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. During the encounter, she expressed anger at being treated unfairly, referencing her responsibilities as a single mother and accusing the officers of corruption. She was taken into custody, still insisting on her innocence.
