COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Hilliard police said a 60-year-old woman was attacked last Friday inside the restroom of a local store.
The incident occurred around 4:00 p.m. at the At Home store on the 3500 block of Park Mill Run Drive.
The woman was assaulted by an unknown man, later identified as 26-year-old Mohamed Camara, of Columbus. Camara allegedly tried to strangle the woman and cover her mouth.
However, she fought back and managed to get the attention of her family, who rushed to her aid. The family then called 911 and detained Camara until officers arrived.
