A Nebraska police officer pulled over a woman after noticing that her car’s license plate tags had expired. When he asked Deann Karpowich if she was aware of this, she defiantly replied that she had decided she was “done paying taxes” and was tired of being “robbed” by the local government. When the officer discovered that Karpowich had also failed to maintain vehicle insurance, the situation quickly escalated.
