This is BIG news! The media didn’t really catch this, but yours truly did. SPD Officer Timothy Smith, a witness with no dog in this fight, gives evidence that George Zimmerman was the one screaming for help (as captured in Lauer’s 911 call).
Think about it folks. The only people who are saying that it was Trayvon Martin yelling for help are Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton. Heck, even Tracy Martin initially said the screams were not his son. He changed his opinion only after he lawyered up and Crump said he had to now say it was Trayvon.
Fulton and Martin are the only two people who will be saying it is Trayvon Martin. This will be against an eyewitness (John Good) who said it was the guy on the bottom (Zimmerman) who was most likely screaming help. His testimony is far more credible than two people who have a financial interest in the outcome of this case.
Anyway, back to Officer Smith:
At minute marker 13:10 Officer Smith said: “He (Zimmerman) told me that he was yelling for help and no one would come help him.” Officer Smith said that he believed Zimmerman was being truthful.
O’Mara: “How long after you first saw him did that happen?” (Zimmerman saying the above).
Officer Smith: “A few minutes.”
O’Mara: “He actually said that to you twice, didn’t he?
Officer Smith: “Correct.”
O’Mara: “The second time was after you got to the car?”
Officer Smith: “Correct.”
O’Mara: “Tell me how he said that.”
Officer Smith: “It was almost confusion. Sort of a confused look on his face.”
O’Mara: “Like he didn’t know why after screaming for help no one would come help him?”
Officer Smith: “Correct.”
O’Mara: “He came across to you as though he was confused?”
Officer Smith: “Correct.”
More evidence that the court clerk must have mixed up the defense witness list with the State’s witness list. That’s the ONLY explanation for Officer Timothy Smith appearing to be testifying for the defense.
Listen and bear witness to:
– The officer rushing to The Retreat because the SPD took serious Zimmerman’s call about a suspicious person loitering in the shadows. In other words, no one thought Zimmerman was once again crying wolf, he was not flagged as a crank 911 caller, he was not flagged as a serial 911 caller.
– The officer seeing Zimmerman’s injuries and considering them serious looking.
– The officer saying Zimmerman appeared dizzy.
– The officer saying that Zimmerman was being sincere and in disbelief that no one would help him, that he screamed for help and no one would help him.
– That Zimmerman acted courteous, respectful, and obeyed all commands.
– That in the officer’s opinion, having arrested many people, some for shootings, even though “calm” Zimmerman appeared shaken up.
– That in the officer’s opinion Zimmerman’s demeanor was not words to the effect, “cold” or “calculating.” His demeanor was typical of others he arrested for a shooting.
– That since he was three-years-old he wanted to be a cop. (That gets into evidence facts to support the argument there’s nothing wrong with being a “wannabe cop” or anything else.)
